ski areas offer the best skiing in New York State.
Awaken to the aromas of freshly brewed coffee and muffins
baking in the oven. Your choice of full country breakfasts,
including homemade bread, is served between 7:30 and 9 am. Watch the
birds from the breakfast table or as you stroll our spacious grounds
or wooded brookside and riverside trails.
Our 40 acres are bordered by extensive state forest lands.
Hiking/cross-country ski trails start at the Lodge, or nearby
trailheads in the Lake George area of the southeastern Adirondacks.
Explore Colonial and Revolutionary War history at forts,
battlefields and museums. Spend an hour or a day cruising
magnificent Lake George.
Check out the antique shops in
Warrensburg,
an historic mill town on the Schroon River. Return to the
lodge, kick off your shoes in our relaxed, congenial ambience before
dinner at one of many fine restaurants nearby.
Four individually heated and air conditioned rooms, all with private
baths.
There is no TV and cell service is improving. (You couldn't find
a better place to leave your real life behind, but if you must stay
in touch we offer internet wi-fi via satellite throughout at
no additional cost to you.)
